Today's MMOE spotlight is on Alicia Zeigler, the brains behind Fortress Fashion Shows* or FFS as it often referred by.  I had the pleasure of working as a makeup artist for one of FFS photo shoots recently.


What is your service that you offer?
Fortress Fashion Shows (www.fortressfashionshows.com): puts on fashion shows for boutiques, designers, and non profit organizations as a means to raise funds for a cause. FFS Model and Talent Agency (www.ffsmodelandtalentagency.info): Provides a link between models seeking employment and clients seeking to hire models. We provide training, coaching, portfolio building, and we consistently seek to sell your contract with us to bigger mother agencies where you will have even more opportunities.

What was your inspiration?
My inspiration for Fortress Fashion Shows came about as a means to contribute to the growing fashion presence in Columbia SC. FFS birthed FFS Model and Talent Agency after 1 year in response to the models who worked for us requesting our help in booking jobs.


What are 2 ways your service can help make someone over?
One way our FFS and FFS MATA help to make someone over is by starting from the inside ans boosting self esteem in our teen girls. We have had several teen girls walk into our audition room not believing how beautiful they were. After a few classes or a round of applause from the audience at the end of the fashion show, these young women have a sense of pride and accomplishment that really boosts their self esteem.

What specials do you have currently?
Right now we currently are offering 50% off first time enrollees in our modeling classes. We are also offering first time portfolio shoots starting at $99.00 for 6 edited prints and 2 looks with some of South Carolina's best photographers!

When was your first makeover (if you’ve had one)?
I did have a makeover at a salon here in Columbia. I got a new hair cut that flattered my face, false lashes and an eyebrow wax! I felt so special! Since then I have been maintaining it at another wonderful salon, Paul Mitchell the School on Gervais in the Vista! I recommend Shynaa or Chris
