Yet another 5k in Columbia, SC!  I was excited to join my friends in the 3rd Annual “Get in the Pink” 5k race.  GITP brings together women for the cause of breast cancer awareness.  The organizers of GITP organize a 5k, 10k, kids run and even a stiletto sprint all in the spirit of fun and survival of breast cancer.  It’s uplifting to see people running for their mama, grandma, sister, wife, friend or themselves.  I crossed the finish line with a woman, who I hear was in her 70s!  She was finishing the 10k!  Dang, I’m inspired!

Since Devine Street seems to be the most fashionable place in Columbia, it’s no surprise to see the lady (runners) rockin’ their best run(way) wear.
