Earth Day was Thursday, April 22, but Friday, April 23 was the day to be green in Columbia! Can you believe most of these outfits were made with materials like recycled bicycle parts, flower trays, flower cups, Monster Energy Drink cans, wire, old tires, and even a shower curtain? The Columbia Design League’s Runaway Runway was the highlight of my week (so far, it’s only Friday)! There was so much energy in the room. I’m inspired to really think twice before throwing out some items.
